Description : I. Background
The Department of Tourism (DOT), through the Office of Tourism Development Planning, Research and Information Management (OTDPRIM), will conduct the Regional Cluster Deployment and Workshop for the ARCGIS Survey Tools and Dashboard across Luzon, Visayas, the DOT Central Office, and Mindanao. For the Mindanao Cluster, the activity is scheduled on September 14-20, 2025, in Kapatagan, Davao del Sur, to be participated in by Planning and Statistics Officers from the region along with representatives from relevant units.
This seven-day workshop and field deployment aims to strengthen the organizational and institutional capacities of DOT officers in the practical application of the ARCGIS Survey Tools and Dashboard. Specifically, the activity will enhance knowledge and skills in the systematic collection, geotagging, and analysis of tourism-related supply and demand data.
