Description : I. BRIEF BACKGROUND :
The Community Guiding Seminar is a seven-day capacity-building program designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and competencies of local tour guides. The training combines lectures, workshops, examinations, and practical demonstrations to ensure that participants are well-prepared to deliver professional, engaging, and culturally sensitive guiding services. For (Intramuros - Senior Citizens), the program highlights the invaluable role of senior citizens as bearers of history, culture, and lived experiences. By equipping them with updated guiding skills, the training not only empowers them with livelihood opportunities but also strengthens the preservation and interpretation of Manila-s historic core.
