a. Media to be used should be granular catalytic media (purely catalytic) which facilitates oxidation,
precipitation and filtration and does not get consumed in the treatment process.
b. Media should use infused and not surface coating technology.
c. Media should not need any chemicals for periodic regeneration, such as potassium permanganate.
d. Media should be activated by chlorine.
e. Media does NOT REQUIRE REGENERATION.
f. Media can last for more than 5 years continuous use.
g. Media should be NSF-ANSI 61 Certified.
h. Media should be UK Regulation 31 Certified.
