Description : I. Overview

The Department of Tourism Regional Office XI (Davao Region) is looking for a Travel and Tours Agency / Ticketing Office for the Purchase of roundtrip ticket Manila-Davao for the Product Audit of Davao Region Farm Tourism Sites on August 28-31, 2023.

RA 9593, also known as the Tourism Act of 2009, mandates the Department of Tourism to harness the potential of tourism as an engine for sustainable growth. Similarly, the National Tourism Development Plan 2016-2022 recognizes farm tourism development as vital in pursuing sustainability and inclusive growth. Further, RA 10816, or the Farm Tourism Development Act of 2016, advocates sustainable tourism and gives value to the combined roles of agriculture and tourism in local communities- economic, environmental, and socio-cultural development.
