Description : SUPPLY OF LABOR, MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT WITH STRICT SUPERVISION IN REPLACEMENT OF MULTIMEDIA FILTERS AT RAPID SAND & CARBON FILTER TANK NO. 1
Scope of Work:
1. Hauling of Media Filter for Replacement
2. Cleaning of Filter Tank & Nozzles
3. Installation of New Filter Medias with the following specifications:
a. Anthracite Filter Media - 0.78 m³
8 x 30 mesh; 500mm
b. Silica Sand - 0.62 m³
0.60 mm x 1.20mm; 400mm
c. Gravel Bedding - 0.31 m³
2.4 mm x 4.8 mm; 200 mm
4. The media shall possess characteristics of durability, long life, resistance to attrition and will not import taste, odour or color to the water being filtered. Densities of the filter media shall be carefully selected to ensure no intermixing of media will occur.
5. The supplier shall provide Certificate of Analysis of the Filter Media
6. See attached drawings and actual photos
7. Spent Multimedia Filters shall be surrendered to PEZA and stored at designated area
