I. Background of the Item Being Procured

General Overview of the Procurement Project
The Information Management Service (IMS) is looking to expand and upgrade its fleet of servers. With the UP System-s push for fully digital and paperless transactions, storage becomes an immediate need. Furthermore, the increasing reliance on digital services and information systems within the University demands increased storage space due to the growth of databases. Thus, the IMS is proposing to procure storage servers compatible with our existing HCI servers for this purpose.

The budget for the Project is forty million pesos (PhP 40,000,000.00)
