1 B. PROJECT OVERVIEW

To improve the efficiency, responsiveness, and reliability of pump station operations, the City of Koronadal Water District (CKWD) is implementing a remote monitoring system utilizing Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) integrated with Peer-to-Peer (P2P) wireless communication technology. This initiative supports CKWD-s objective to modernize field operations while optimizing manpower allocation.

Under the revised scheme, one pump operator will oversee two pumping stations through a combination of on-site tasks and remote monitoring. To enable this, each pump operator will be equipped with a tablet or remote monitoring device, allowing them to view live CCTV feeds and operational parameters wherever they may be assigned. This mobility ensures continuous situational awareness and quicker response to any operational or security incidents.
