  Description : I. BRIEF BACKGROUND :
  In line with the Philippines role as the Host Country of ASEAN 2026, the Department of
  Tourism is tasked to deliver appropriate frontline assistance and protocol services to ASEAN
  delegates and visitors arriving in the country. Throughout the year, the Unit is expected to
  provide frontline assistance to an estimated 18,577 participants, including senior officials and
  ministerial-level delegates. This responsibility entails heightened protocol requirements,
  extensive inter-agency coordination, and strict adherence to international service standards
  befitting an official ASEAN host country.
  
  II. OBJECTIVES / GOALS :
   To provide a warm, dignified, and culturally appropriate welcome to ASEAN 2026
  delegates through the donning of welcoming leis upon arrival.
   To ensure compliance with established protocol and hospitality standards consistent
  with the Philippines- role as Host Country of ASEAN 2026.
