In support of the Republic Act 9262 known as the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004, Proclamation 1172 series of 2006 which mandates the annual observance of the 18-day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW) from 05 November to 12 December 2025 and pursuant to Section 10 of RA 9710 Magna Carta of Women, the GSIS Gender and Development (GAD) Committee is extending humanitarian assistance to abused women and children and victims of calamities by distributing hygiene or dignity kits. The budget for the project is included in the approved 2025 GAD Plan and Budget (GPB).
