Hiring of Consultancy Services (Individual Consultant)

1. The Government of the Philippines has received a loan (Loan No. 9480-PH) from the World Bank to finance the Philippine Fisheries Coastal Resiliency (FishCoRe) Project. It intends to allocate a portion of the proceeds from this loan towards the procurement of Consultancy Services (Individual Consultant).

2. There is a need for a Senior Environmental Safeguards Specialist to ensure the FishCoRe Project-s compliance with environmental policies and regulations. This role involves providing technical guidance, overseeing the implementation of safeguards in sub-projects, and developing and enforcing environmental safeguard policies. Additional responsibilities include conducting impact assessments, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations, and engaging stakeholders to address their concerns.
