The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has received financing from the World Bank (WB) and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) toward the cost of the Metro Manila Flood Management Project - Phase I (MMFMP) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds for hiring an individual consultant that will serve as a Social and Environmental Safeguards Specialist/Safeguard Specialist (ESS) for the project.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) now calls for the submission of Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for the procurement of a Social and Environmental Safeguards Specialist/Safeguard Specialist (SS) who shall tasked to spearhead the provision of technical assistance in ensuring the compliance and implementation of Safeguards Policy and adhering to the general procedures and guidelines of the World Bank (WB) in order to ensure quality output of program interventions.
