Description : I. RATIONALE

In order to protect and maintain the quality of NFA stocks stored in our warehouses, quality control measures should be conducted on the storage structures and facilities, pallets, empty sacks (MTS) and all other food contact surfaces.

For the benefit of the consumers and the general public, only good quality stocks should be issued by NFA. Several pest control measures must be undertaken such as protective and residual spraying, fogging, rodent control and termite control using different types of chemicals or pesticides vis-a-vis the correct frequency and rate of application to prevent the quali1y of stocks from imminent deterioration and damage, thereby reducing quantity and quality losses.

This Terms of Reference (TOR) is hereby adopted by NFA Region IX - Regional Bids and Awards Committee (RBAC) for the Procurement of NFA Region IX Pesticide Requirement for CY 2025.
