Description : The structure is situated within the premises of the University of Rizal System Cardona
Campus, Rizal Province, Philippines.
The demand for tilapia fry and fingerlings in the CALABARZON region is high, but current
production from BFAR and private hatcheries is insufficient to meet the region-s requirements.
Existing hatchery facilities need repair, improvement, and modernization to increase
productivity and adopt current technologies. The proposed upgrading of the tilapia intensive
hatchery facility aims to secure a sustainable supply of fingerlings, support local tilapia farmers,
and serve as a model facility to augment production in the region.
The Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) for this project is One Million Five Hundred
Thousand Pesos (₱1,500,000.00), covering all necessary works to achieve the required
minimum performance standards and specifications.
