1. The Philippine National Railways, through the General Appropriations Acts (GAA) for C.Y. 2023 intends to apply the sum of Seven Million Three Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty-Four Pesos and Thirty-One Centavos (Php7,003,934.31) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for Repair/Rehabilitation and Construction of Bridges - Lot 8 - Regirdering of Various Steel Bridge Superstructures Within PNR Hondagua Division (2nd Rebid). Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.

2. The Philippine National Railways now invites bids for the above Procurement Project. Completion of the Works is required within One Hundred Twenty (120) Calendar Days. Bidders should have completed a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II (Instructions to Bidders).
