Description : Repair and Maintenance of Air Conditioning Units (Faculty Rooms)
Scope of Works:
I. Objective
To ensure the efficient operation, reliability, and extended service life of air conditioning units installed in the faculty rooms, thereby providing a comfortable working environment for the teaching and non-teaching personnel.
II. Scope of Work
1. Inspection and Assessment
o Conduct diagnostic evaluation of all air conditioning units in the faculty rooms.
o Identify defective parts, leaks, and electrical/mechanical issues.
o Prepare a report of findings prior to the conduct of repair.
2. Cleaning and Preventive Maintenance
o Cleaning of air filters, coils, and blower assembly.
o Vacuuming of drainage lines to prevent water leakage.
o Application of chemical cleaning for heavily clogged coils.
o Checking and tightening of electrical connections.
3. Repair Works
o Replacement of worn-out or defective parts such as capacitors, contactors, fan motors, compressors, or thermostats.
o Refrigerant leak testing and sealing.
