Description : 1. Objective:
To rehabilitate and restore the classroom windows of the Hidalgo Building to ensure safety, proper ventilation, and improved learning conditions for students and staff.
2. Description of Work:
The contractor shall perform the following tasks:
a. Site Inspection and Pre-Work Assessment
• Conduct a detailed inspection of all classroom windows.
• Identify defective, broken, or deteriorated components (frames, glass panels, jalousies, locks, hinges, etc.).
• Submit a work plan and material list prior to mobilization.
b. Removal of Damaged Components
• Carefully dismantle broken or corroded window frames, glass panes, and jalousie mechanisms.
• Dispose of all removed materials properly in coordination with the school-s designated personnel.
c. Supply of Materials
• Provide high-quality and durable materials, which may include:
o Aluminum or steel window frames (painted or powder-coated)
o Glass panels or acrylic (depending on design)
o Jalousie blades and mechanisms (if applicable)
o Window locks, hinges, and handles
