INFRASTRUCTURE AND OTHER FLAGSHIP PROGRAMS

I. BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE
In accordance with the Department Order No. 2025-0003, “Updated Guidelines for
the Implementation of Tourism Champions Challenge (TCC), the National TCC
Committee (NTCCC) directed the Regional Offices to undertake necessary
preparations and activities for the implementation of the 2nd TCC Cycle. This
includes a proactive information campaign to ensure that LGUs are well- informed of
the TCC Guidelines and selection process. Furthermore, this initiative aims to
encourage the submission of innovative, sustainable, inclusive and resilient tourism
proposals that align with the strategic goals of enhancing the Philippine tourism
landscape.
In this regard, the Department of Tourism Region 1 will be conducting a Regional
Information Campaign on July 8-9, 2025 for Provincial and Local Government Units
