Description : I. BACKGROUND

The Center for Microcredentialing and Industry Training (CMITC) is in the process of applying for accreditation as an Assessment Center for Bread and Pastry Production NC II and Cookery NC II under the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). One of the primary requirements in the implementation of a secure, quality-assured, and transparent competency assessment process is the installation of a Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) surveillance system.
In compliance with TESDA-s Unified TVET Program Registration and Accreditation System (UTPRAS) guidelines, assessment centers are mandated to ensure the integrity and monitoring of assessment activities. The installation of CCTV cameras is a standard requirement to provide real-time and recorded surveillance of assessment areas. This measure ensures that competency assessments are conducted in accordance with prescribed standards and free from any form of irregularity or malpractice.
