PROJECT BACKGROUND
As the current chairperson of the Regional Ecotourism Committee, the DOT is committed in
providing support in the initiatives of DENR R1 as its co-chairperson in implementing ecotourism- related programs and initiatives. One of which is the 1st Regional Protected Area Conference which
will be on May 21-22, 2025 in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur. In addition, the DOTR1 is one of the Protected
Area Management Board members tasked in managing Protected Areas in the region.
In this activity, the DENR sought assistance in the provision of visual and lights systems for
the said event. The DOT shall be providing LED wall with basic lights and sounds set-up in the venue
for two days. The DOT will also be inviting resources speaker/s to talk about biodiversity promotion
and conservation utilizing the social media platform as well as available promotional materials for
