BACKGROUND AND RATIONALE
The Christmas season is one of the most anticipated and
meaningful occasions in Filipino culture, symbolizing unity,
generosity, and hope. In Barangay Bambang, Taguig City, the youth
make up a vital and dynamic sector whose well-being, values
formation, and sense of community have always been a priority of the
Sangguniang Kabataan (SK). As the country continues to recover from
the social and economic challenges brought about by recent years—
such as the lingering effects of the pandemic, rising living costs, and
limited opportunities for recreational and developmental programs—
many young people in the barangay continue to face uncertainties and
emotional strain.
Recognizing these challenges, the Sangguniang Kabataan of
Barangay Bambang aims to bring joy, encouragement, and meaningful
