Description : 1. Purpose
The Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines seeks to engage the services of a qualified and accredited security agency to ensure the comprehensive protection and safeguarding of its physical assets, personnel, and confidential information. This initiative is driven by the agency's commitment to maintaining a secure, orderly, and resilient working environment that upholds public trust and supports its mission of promoting and protecting intellectual property rights in the Philippines.
2. Legal Basis
This procurement shall be undertaken pursuant to Republic Act (RA) No. 12009, known as the New Government Procurement Act, and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR), as well as all other applicable laws, rules, and guidelines issued by the Government Procurement Policy Board (GPPB). The Service Provider shall
likewise ensure full compliance with Labor laws and regulations, Private Security Service's regulations and Data Privacy laws.
