I. RATIONALE:
In pursuit of improving learners- foundational literacy and addressing learning gaps exacerbated by disrupted schooling, Acacia Elementary School will conduct a 15-days Sessions for ARAL from Grades 1 to 6. This initiative aims to strengthen their pedagogical and intervention skills in preparation for their crucial role as tutors in the ARAL (Academic Recovery and Acceleration for Learning) Program, scheduled to begin on September 15. The training will focus on effective reading strategies, diagnostic and formative assessment techniques, and learner-centered tutoring practices aligned with the needs of struggling readers. Equipped with these tools, Reading Coordinators will serve as mentors to ARAL tutors, ensuring consistent and quality literacy support across the division.
