BACKGROUND:

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has launched the Rural Agro-enterprise Partnership for Inclusive Development and Growth (RAPID Growth) Project in support of the national government-s socio-economic agenda. This agenda emphasizes the development of rural enterprises, value chain enhancement, improved competitiveness, ease of doing business, investment in human capital, alignment of skills with industry needs, accelerated infrastructure development, and the promotion of innovation through science and technology.

The RAPID Growth Project is being implemented across seven regions in Eastern Visayas and Mindanao, covering 21 target provinces, including Sultan Kudarat.
