III. BACKGROUND

This is in regard to the need for the services of a tour operator/ground handling services for the conduct of the Hilot Practitioners Training scheduled for the first quarter of 2026. In support of the NTDP, a Wellness Tourism Strategic Framework was crafted in 2023 in cooperation with public and private sector partners and stakeholders. The plan identified the development of the Filipino Brand of Wellness as one of the key initiatives, highlighting Hilot as the main modality.

The aforementioned activity is a 24-day training program designed to equip practitioners from identified wellness enterprises with the knowledge and skills on standardized Hilot guidelines, modalities, and techniques, with the goal of promoting and disseminating these standards within their respective regions.
