I. BACKGROUND

EVA Air facilitates flights from Budapest (BUD) to Taipei (TPE) through connecting services, primarily via codeshare agreements with partner airlines. The main connection points and partner airlines often used for this route are: 1) Vienna International Airport, with Austrian Airlines (a Star Alliance partner), then connecting to an EVA Air operated flight from Vienna to Taipei, 2) Istanbul Airport, connection will then have made through Istanbul using Turkish Airlines (another Star Alliance member) for the initial segment of the flight.

Under this connectivity, EVA Air is proposing to invite a selected group of major tour operators and influential travel journalists from Hungary to have a familiarization tour of the best destinations in the Philippines.
