I. Background
The ASEAN NTOs Meeting is a Senior Officials level gathering held twice a year,
comprising high-ranking tourism officials from the ASEAN Member States (AMS).
These meetings are vital for aligning and coordinating regional tourism policies,
strategies, and initiatives. The first meeting is typically convened during the ASEAN
Tourism Forum (ATF) in January, while the second meeting is hosted on an
alphabetical and rotational basis by the AMS.
The ASEAN NTOs Network is the primary implementing body of the ASEAN Tourism
Strategic Plan (ATSP) and other tourism-related programs. Its core objective is to drive
regional economic growth, social progress, and cultural development through tourism,
while positioning ASEAN as a unified, sustainable, and attractive tourism destination.
Discussions on the ATSP Post-2025 will continue during the upcoming meetings. As
