Description : INVITATION TO BID FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF ONION SEEDS

1. The Department of Agriculture-Western Visayas, through the National Expenditure Program of 2026 (Short of Award) intends to apply the sum of Two Million Seventy Five Thousand Pesos (Php2,075,000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for Procurement of Supply and Delivery of Onion Seeds/IB No. 2026-003 (GAS). Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.

2. The Department of Agriculture-Western Visayas now invites bids for Procurement of Supply and Delivery of Onion Seeds with the following specifications:

Red Type Onion Seeds (OPV) 400g/can 461 cans
Yellow Onion Seeds (F1) 400g/can 35 cans

Terms and Conditions:
1. Sourced from PSIA Accredited seeds company
2. Must passed the BPI germination rate standard of 75%
3. Expiration date must be not less than 18 months from the date of delivery
4. Supplier must replace seeds found to have germination rate of less than the BPI germination standard after testing by NSQCS 6, WESVIARC, Buntatala, ...
