Description : 1. Background of the Project Procurement
The fiber optic cable of the Government Network (GovNet) in Metro Manila of the
Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) provides
internet connectivity through fiber optic cable to government agencies that
include National Government Agencies (NGA), Government-Owned and
Controlled Corporations (GOCC), State Universities and Colleges (SUC), Local
Government Unit (LGU), Government Financial Institutions (GFI), Government
Hospitals, and Legislative branches of the government (Senate and House of
Representatives) and other government entities.
The project aims to provide (FOC) Network supplies and materials for the
Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) - Fiber
Optic Cable (FOC) Network Operation and Maintenance in the Regional
Government Center located in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. This is to provide
