I. Background
The 26th Session of the UN Tourism General Assembly (UNT-GA) will be convened on 07-11 November 2025 in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The UNT-GA, the supreme organ of UN Tourism, meets every two years to approve the budget and programme of work and debate critical issues affecting the tourism sector. Every four years, it elects the Secretary-General of UN Tourism.
The participation of the Philippines in the 26th UNT-GA aims to represent the country-s interests by contributing actively to deliberations on key agenda items, particularly on global tourism policies relating to sustainability, ethics, and innovation.
