Description : Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 469 declaring April of every year as “Buwan ng Kalutong Pilipino” or “Filipino Food Month”, the Department of Tourism - Region III has established its flagship program in celebration of the said event. Titled Food Talks, this annual forum gathers industry experts in an avenue to exchange knowledge, ideas, and best practices in the world of food and tourism. Event components include a Flea Market/Food Bazaar and GastroCultural Tour.

For 2025, the third edition of Food Talks will once again tackle relevant topics conducive to the preservation of Filipino culinary heritage and its development together with the promotion of Gastronomy Tourism locally and globally. By instigating the active involvement of industry stakeholders, the event aims to rally participants to become primary movers to push our advocacy forward: harnessing the power of food to champion Filipino identity, inclusivity, sustainability, resilience, and global competitiveness.
