The Department of Tourism (DOT) Region IV-A or CALABARZON will take part in Terra Madre Asia & Pacific 2025, to be held on November 19-23, 2025 in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. This historic gathering marks the first time the globally renowned Terra Madre, a flagship initiative of the international Slow Food movement will be staged in the Asia-Pacific region. The event will convene over 2,000 delegates composed of farmers, fisherfolk, indigenous leaders, chefs, academics, entrepreneurs, tourism stakeholders, and advocates of sustainable food systems across the region. As a strong advocate of gastronomy tourism and sustainable food heritage, DOT Region IV-A-s participation underscores the region-s commitment to promoting community-based, farm-to-table, and heritage-based culinary experiences as part of its tourism identity.
