Description : Consulting Services for the Feasibility Study for the Proposed Wastewater and/or
Sewage/Septage Treatment System in the (A) IMUS RIVER BASIN, (B) CANAS RIVER BASIN and (C) YLANG-YLANG-RIO GRANDE RIVE BASIN located in the Province of Cavite.

I. Introduction

The Clean Water Act of 2004 (R. A. 9275), Sanitation Code and LGU Ordinances, directly and indirectly regulate wastewater and sludge/biosolids disposal which are to be implemented by various local, national government and private agencies concerned. They are directed to comply/conform to the environmental standards and sanitation code specifically through Wastewater and Sewage/Septage Management Program in their areas of responsibilities/jurisdictions.

In response to the abovementioned statutory directives, the EMB CALABARZON REGION in coordination with the IMUS-YLANG YLANG-RIO GRANDE WATER QUALITY MANAGEMENT AREA and CANAS-MAALIMANGO WATER QALITY MANAGEMENT AREA(WQMA) through its Governing Board shall implement its Wastewater Management Program by constructing combined wastewater and sewage/septage treatment ...
