Description : Procurement of Portable Small Water Meter Tester
Description:
· The Portable Small Water Meter Tester must be designed for field testing of water meters with sizes from 1/2" to 1". It must demonstrate water meter accuracy during site verification/inspections.
· It must be capable of testing meters without removing from services and that have been removed as well through reinforced flexible hose and adapters.
· It must be self-contained portable test meter with all control valves, hose connectrion, fittings, and pressure gauges permanently installed in a rugged, weatherproof plastic portable case for long service life in harsh field conditions. The case may be closed and locked while the tester is in service in the event long-term evaluations are needed. Easy to carry and light weight.
· To allow various testing connections for variety of meter sizes, the Portable Small Water Tester must include but not limited to the following accessories:
· Mechanical display gauge/not battery operated.
✓A 2" pressure gauge that provides visual indication of water system pressure.
