Description : INVITATION TO BID

The Local Government Unit of Barbaza Antique, through its Gender and Development Fund (GAD) , intends to apply the sum of TWO HUNDRED TWENTY FOUR THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED FIFTEEN PESOS ONLY ( P 224,315.00 ) being the Approved Budget for the Contract to payment under the contract for the PROCUREMENT OF MEDICNES (NUTRITION AND DEWORMING) TO BE USED IN THE RURAL HEALTH UNIT. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.

The Local Government Unit of Barbaza Antique now invites bids for the above Procurement Project. Bidders should have completed, within five (5) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly in Section II (Instruction Bidder). Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of the Republic Act (RA) 9184. Otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”.
