ESTABLISHMENT OF WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY FOR AQUACULTURE FACILITIES OF REGIONAL FRESHWATER AQUACULTURE TECHNO DEMO CENTER (RFATDEC), PAOAY, ILOCOS NORTE

I. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The project involves the Design and Build of a Wastewater Treatment Facility intended to collect, treat, and improve the quality of wastewater generated from the aquaculture facilities of the Regional Freshwater Aquaculture Technology Demonstration Center (RFATDeC), including but not limited to hatchery, nursery, and broodstock development and breeding tanks and ponds, prior to discharge into the environment.

The facility shall be designed to provide an efficient and reliable wastewater treatment system that will reduce solid wastes, organic load, and other pollutants, and ensure environmentally sustainable aquaculture operations of the Center.
