In support of the Department of Tourism-s thrust to diversify offerings and strengthen Region
I-s promotion efforts in South Korea—our country-s top inbound source market — The
Department of Tourism Region 1 will be conducting the Ilocos and Pangasinan - Korea
Tourism Showcase and Exchange, which will be held on November 2-6, 2025 in South
Korea. This initiative comprises a series of strategic activities in various areas in South Korea, designed with the guidance and recommendation of the DOT - Korea Office, to integrate
tourism promotion, cultural diplomacy, business engagements and immersive
learning. Each engagement is purposefully structured to highlight Region 1-s strengths,
foster international partnerships, and enhance cultural understanding, while also providing
