Procurement of GE FDL8 Engine and Capital Parts for GE Diesel Electric Locomotive

1. The Philippine National Railways, through the General Appropriations Act (GAA) for CY 2019 (Special Provision) intends to apply the sum One Hundred Fifty-Two Million Five Hundred Thousand and 00/100 Pesos (₱152,500,000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for Procurement of GE FDL8 Engine and Capital Parts for GE Diesel Electric Locomotive. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.

2. The Philippine National Railways now invites bids for Procurement of GE FDL8 Engine and Capital Parts for GE Diesel Electric Locomotive. The scope of work shall include the supply and delivery of capital spare parts for Diesel Electric Locomotives; Technical assistance should be provided upon the installation of GE FDL8 Engine; and Testing and Commissioning of GE FDL8 Engine.
