Welcome Reception for the 6th FRLD Meeting Delegates in Cebu, Philippines

Background
The Philippines is once again hosting the Loss and Damage Fund Board Meeting set on 9-11 July 2025 in Cebu, Philippines. The preparatory meetings will begin as early as 6 July, and the Executive Director will remain until July 13, 2025.

Kicking off the Board Meeting, there will be a Welcome Dinner on July 9, 2025 to be attended by 150 guests, including Board Members, Alternate Board Members, United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Interim Secretariat, selected legislators, officials of the Technical Working Group agencies, among others. The Welcome Dinner aims to:

 Welcome the delegates in Cebu, Philippines, who are working on completing the Philippine commitment to have the Host County Agreement, once signed, to undergo the ratification process within the Senate, prior to being an international agreement;

 Introduce the Cebu cuisine and delicacies; and

 Showcase Cebu Province-s cultural performances.b...
