The Region 1 Tourism Summit is an annual gathering of the region-s tourism industry
stakeholders in celebration of the National Tourism Week and the World Tourism Day and
seeks to bring together around 200 policymakers, local government units, private sector
partners, MSMEs, creatives, and community leaders in a collective dialogue on the future of
tourism in the in region 1. This year-s summit carries the theme βTourism and Sustainable Transformation,β emphasizing inclusive, future-ready, and environmentally responsible tourism in the Ilocos
Region. As an annual celebration of Tourism Month, the two-day program will feature
various activities such as stakeholders- general assembly, sustainability-focused talks, a mini
trade fair and an industry appreciation nightβall aimed at building stronger synergies for
