Terra Madre Asia & Pacific in Bacolod is a major international event that brings together food communities, farmers, fisher folk, chefs, indigenous peoples, youth, and advocates from across the Asia-Pacific region to promote sustainable, fair, and culturally rooted food systems. It-s like a big “food summit and cultural festival” happening in Bacolod City, Philippines from November 19 to 23, 2025, where people from different countries gather to celebrate traditional foods, talk about how to protect the environment, and share ways to make food
systems better for people and the planet.

II. Rationale and Justification
