I. RATIONALE

The Dangerous Drugs Board Regulation No. 2 series of 2023, or the Revised Protocol When Handling Children Allegedly Involved in Drugs directs that “if the child in conflict with the law (CICL) is required to be placed under a center-based intervention (Bahay Pagasa) pursuant to RA 9344 as amended, the intervention or treatment needed to address the child-s risk or substance use disorder will be determined by the multi-disciplinary team or the center in charge of the CICL-s case.
