  FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THE TWENTIETH (20TH) COUNCIL FOR THE WELFARE OF CHILDREN LEGISLATIVE AGENDA OF CHILDREN (CLAC)

  As the focal interagency-governmental agency body for children-s welfare, the Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC) is mandated to formulate policies, programs, and measures on children-s rights and concerns.
  
  In line with this mandate, the CWC must be able to identify and address emerging issues and trends affecting children through the formulation of policies or proposal of appropriate legislation, whichever would best apply.
  
  Relative to this, the twentieth (20th) CWC Legislative Agenda of Children (CLAC), which shall set the priority policies for the next legislative cycle and serve as a basis for advocacy efforts in collaboration with key stakeholders, should be developed in time for the opening of the upcoming Congress.
