Description : The conduct of Basic Rope Rescue Training as one of the tri-skills modules of FBRS at NFTI requires lecture and demonstration using BRRT supplies like the pulley. The approximate 1500 fire trainees at NFTI main campus use these pulleys and other mechanical advantage to enhance and develop their skills on rope rescue.
It is on this continuous BRRT activities using appropriate supplies for the activities that this procurement is needed. It can be associated to the wear and tear of a number of items that may peril the safety of the trainers as well as the trainees using the pulleys in need. Prolonged use and unavoidable dropping may cause unseen crack that may not bear the weight of the users.
