Description : Ion Exchange Media Regular Maintenance
Ion exchange media filtration system regular maintenance procedure are as follows.
1. Inspection and observe system operation before dismantling.
2. Removal and check-up of ion exchange filter media from discharge port below the filter tank.
3. Removal of pebbles from discharge port below the filter tank.
4. Inspection of Upper strainer and under drain strainer.
5. Repouring of ion exchange media in filter tank after inspections.
6. Inspection of Backwash valve, solenoid valve and PE tubing.
7. Inspection of Backwash system controller.
8. Regeneration of Ion exchange media.
9. Backwashing of Ion exchange media.
10. Flushing of water in Ion exchange media.
11. Inspect and clean pre - filters, pipe line and feed pump.
12. Replacement pressure gauge.
13. Check and adjust disinfection chemicals.
14. Test & Run the Filtration system.
