ONE-TIME PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE OF FIRE PUMP AND CONTROLLER

(Visual Inspection, Cleaning and Functional Testing)

Scope of Works:

I. MECHANICAL SYSTEM: FIRE PUMP/JOCKEY PUMP

A. Conduct of Functional Testing of Fire Pump and Jockey Pump

• Run fire pump for at least ten minutes using the return test line

• Record the system-s suction pressure and discharge pressure

• Observe any strange noises or vibrations

• Check pump casing for signs of overheating

• Check the pump for any possible water discharge from the volute casing

• Check volt and amp readings

• Perform Flow Test

150 percent of rated capacity at 65 percent of rated pressure

100 percent of rated capacity at rated pressure

Zero flow at churn (no flow)

• Record and submit all results. • Submit report.
