The Department of Tourism (DOT) is active in supporting several advocacy programs that promote
inclusivity, equality, and the world-renowned Filipino brand of service in the tourism industry.
Furthermore, the DOT continues to campaign for a sustainable tourism industry focused on reviving the
local economy and creating livelihood opportunities at the grassroots level.
In the effort to enhance the skills of various communities engaged in Community-Based Tourism (CBT)
to improve food service and quality, Kulinarya Workshops are organized in coordination with the LGUs.
The workshop is envisioned to train community members who will prepare food for the visitors in a
