1. Program Description

As an initiative of the men and women of the Juan R. Liwag Memorial High School-Senior High School, specifically the Gender and Development Coordinator and on GAD Technical Working Group and the Use of Harmonized Gender and Development Guidelines (HGDG).

Objectives of the GAD training are as follows:

1.Deepen participants- understanding of gender concepts and SOGIE (Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression) in the context of education.

2. Familiarize participants with legal mandates such as RA 9710, RA 11313, DepEd Orders) for gender-based inclusivity.

3. Promote gender sensitivity in instructional strategies, and classroom management, ensuring that teaching and learning processes are inclusive and bias-free.

4. Empower participants to become advocates of inclusive and gender equality within their spheres of influence in the school community.
