Description : The Local Government Unit of Naga City, through the NAGA CITY GENERAL HOSPITAL (NCGH), is mandated to deliver sustained public health services through the continuous availability of low-cost but quality drugs and medicines.

While the current challenge of NCGH is the maintenance of an adequate stock of drugs and medicines in the light of the surges of demand, the City Procurement Office (CPO), together with the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), was informed of a Consignment System that entails no additional investment from the government.

The Consignment System involves consignors placing goods at the NCGH, the consignee, and is paid based on the actual quantity sold or consumed, only using the proceeds generated from the sale as provided by Sec. 40.4 of the IRR of RA 12009, otherwise known as the New Government Procurement Act.

The BAC now invites eligible Consignors to submit consignment offers for the consignment of Various Drugs and Medicines for one (1) year, subject to renewal.
