Description : 1. The BUREAU OF JAIL MANAGEMENT AND PENOLOGY REGIONAL OFFICE-CALABARZON (BJMPRO-CALABARZON), through the GENERAL APPROPRIATIONS ACT (GAA) OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES (RA 12116) FY 2025 intends to apply the sum of FIFTEEN MILLION FIVE HUNDRED TWENTY THOUSAND PESOS (PHP 15,520,000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for CONSTRUCTION OF SECURITY AREA (FENCE) FOR BATANGAS CITY JAIL (I-2025-06). Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.

2. The BJMPRO-CALABARZON now invites bids for the above Procurement Project. Completion of the Works is required ONE HUNDRED FIFTY (150) CALENDAR DAYS FROM THE RECEIPT OF NOTICE TO PROCEED. Bidders should have completed a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II (Instructions to Bidders).

3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the 2016 revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) No. ...
