III. BACKGROUND:
With the Department of Tourism-s goal to help our tourism organizations and promote inclusivity,
DOT Region VI will conduct a Cultural Festival Management and Creative Tourism Seminar in the
different Municipalities in the Province of Aklan.
Filipino tourism frontliners and stakeholders need evidence-based insights on how destinations,
especially sites and festivals, can take center stage in their tour itineraries.
IV. PURPOSE/OBJECTIVES:
This workshop is envisioned to help local government unit and host community members to develop
